ADJ Delivers Immersive, Hands-On AVL Experience at NAMM 2026

ADJ enjoyed a standout presence at The NAMM Show 2026, taking a bold step away from the traditional booth-only format by creating a fully immersive AVL Experience in a dedicated demo room adjacent to the show floor. It was used to showcase the latest fixtures from ADJ as well as smaller and more budget conscious offerings from sister brand Eliminator Lighting and speaker systems from AVANTE Audio. Over the course of the three-day event, the space became a destination for attendees looking to experience lighting and audio technology the way it’s meant to be seen and heard—in a controlled environment, at real performance levels, and with real people asking real questions.
Customers and industry professionals consistently shared how much they appreciated the demo room’s hands-on, one-on-one approach. Rather than viewing fixtures from a distance or under compromised lighting conditions, visitors were able to step inside a darkened space, talk directly with ADJ team members, and see products demonstrated up close. This format allowed for deeper conversations, meaningful demos, and a clearer understanding of how the technology performs in real-world applications.

Several ADJ products generated particularly strong interest throughout the show, starting with the AX2, ADJ’s most advanced lighting control console to date. Built on the ONYX platform from Obsidian Control Systems, the AX2 attracted lighting designers, programmers, and production professionals looking for a powerful yet approachable all-in-one control solution. Visitors responded positively to its blend of tactile hardware controls and intuitive touchscreen workflow, as well as its ability to handle everything from straightforward rigs to complex, media-driven productions.
Also drawing attention was the Focus CMY Compact, which impressed visitors by delivering beam, spot, and wash capabilities with full CMY color mixing in a lightweight and versatile moving head. Its combination of professional features, strong output, and compact size made it a popular choice for designers seeking flexibility without sacrificing performance. Meanwhile, the Vizi Xtreme proved to be a true visual standout in the demo room. Its ultra-fast movement, high-output beam wash performance, continuous pan and tilt, and distinctive LED ring created bold, energetic looks that filled the space and showcased the fixture’s ability to move seamlessly between subtle textures and high-impact moments.

Eliminator Lighting also captured plenty of attention, especially among DJs and mobile entertainers. The Centerdroid stood out as a high-energy centerpiece, delivering constantly moving aerial effects that transformed the space with vibrant color and motion. The Mega Color Q18 impressed with its ability to deliver smooth, even washes and rich color output from a compact form factor, making it a flexible option for uplighting, wall washing, and accent applications. Meanwhile, the Mega Par Z Wash sparked conversations thanks to its motorized zoom and impressive RGBW output, offering users the ability to transition easily from tight beams to wide washes using a single fixture.
From an audio perspective, the demo room format truly shined. Visitors responded enthusiastically to AVANTE Audio’s new Akro Series line array system and established Imperio Pro Series ‘mini line array, particularly because they were able to hear it in a live performance environment rather than a static playback demo. The system delivered clarity, punch, and consistency throughout the room, allowing attendees to evaluate how it performs under real-world conditions.

Ensuring the audio experience met that standard was Tony Mirador, Product Engineer for AVANTE Audio, who was responsible for dialing in the sound throughout the event. His work helped create an engaging, balanced listening experience that complemented the lighting and visual elements without overpowering them.
The demo room itself was thoughtfully designed and programmed by ADJ Technical Product Specialist Jeffrey Yukelson, who created a light show that highlighted each fixture’s strengths while demonstrating how they function together in a complete production environment. His programming brought the space to life, showing how movement, color, and timing could be used creatively to enhance live performances.

Live music played a major role in bringing the AVL Experience together. On Thursday and Friday, Grammy-nominated R&B, old-school funk, and smooth jazz vocal group DW3 delivered polished performances that showcased both the lighting and audio systems in action. On Saturday, neo-soul, blues, and Motown singer Stellita Marie and her band took the stage, providing a powerful and soulful finale that filled the room and highlighted the full capabilities of the setup.
Reflecting on the success of the experience, Alfred Gonzales, ADJ USA’s Director of Sales, commented: “NAMM 2026 was a great opportunity for us to connect with customers in a more meaningful way. By giving people the chance to really spend time with the products, ask questions, and see everything working together in a real performance environment, we were able to show not just what our technology does—but how it can be used creatively in the real world.”

By combining lighting, audio, and live performance in a dedicated space, ADJ and its sister brands created an experience that stood apart at NAMM 2026. The ability to truly see and hear products in action—while engaging directly with the people behind them—made the AVL Experience a highlight of the show and reinforced ADJ’s commitment to innovation, creativity, and real-world performance.
