Get Connected: Introducing ADJ’s New WiFi NET 2 Wireless-Enabled DMX Node

ADJ’s compact and portable new WiFi NET 2 wireless DMX over ethernet node allows streamlined DMX signal distribution for both fixed installations and temporary event applications. It receives a control signal via Ethernet cable or wireless signal and outputs DMX via two independent sockets.
Compatible with both Art-Net and sACN input signals, the WiFi NET 2 effortlessly handles decoding, conversion, and node functionality. The 5-pin DMX sockets can be configured to output either two separate DMX universes or to duplicate a single universe, allowing customization based on the requirements of different projects. Additionally, the unit is able to receive a 2.4G wireless control signal from a software or app-based control system. The RDM (Remote Device Management) protocol is also supported, enabling remote addressing of compatible fixtures directly from a compatible lighting control system.
With support for Unicast, broadcast, fixed IP, and DHCP configuration on UDP, the WiFi NET 2 offers flexible networking options to suit your specific setup requirements. Configuration is made simple and convenient via any web browser (PC or Mac), allowing for quick and easy customization to optimize your lighting control experience. To aid with system configuration and troubleshooting, LED indicators are provided on the unit for DC (power), ACT (network activity), 1000Mbps (network connection) and WIFI LINK (wireless connection).

Both compact and rugged, the WiFi NET 2 is designed for use in demanding professional entertainment lighting environments. It features an M10 thread to mount a clamp for rigging as well as rubber feet for desktop operation. Power may be supplied to the device either using the included 9V adaptor or via POE (Power Over Ethernet) from the Ethernet input.
“Built for the demands of life on the road, yet small enough to slip into a laptop bag, the WiFi NET 2 is a powerful and versatile DMX over ethernet node,” comments Alfred Gonzales, ADJ USA’s Director of Sales. “Its dual outputs, Art-Net and sACN compatibility, and web-based configuration make it incredibly versatile – whether you’re working on a complex permanent install or need a quick, reliable DMX solution on the road. It’s all about giving lighting pros the flexibility and connectivity they need.”
The WiFi NET 2 is available now from ADJ dealers and distributors worldwide.
