ADJ Highlights New Lighting Solutions at Milestone Prolight+Sound 2025

From April 8th to 11th, 2025, ADJ exhibited at the renowned Prolight+Sound trade show in Frankfurt, Germany. Marking its 30th anniversary, the event served as an ideal stage for ADJ to celebrate 40 years in the lighting industry and to showcase a host of new products aimed at event professionals, rental companies, and lighting designers.

Throughout the four-day exhibition, ADJ presented a broad selection of its latest offerings, including automated luminaires, static fixtures, and innovative solutions that blend performance with creativity. Among the standout products on display were the stunning Vizi Pix Z19, the versatile Hydro Flex L7 and Hydro Flex L19, the powerful 40 HEX Panel IP, the retro-inspired Vintage X and Vintage Bar, and the innovative Encore DBX blinder.

The Vintage X and Vintage Bar fixtures, which combine a classic aesthetic with modern features, garnered significant attention. Both models integrate powerful amber blinder LEDs and RGB backlighting for added visual interest. While the Vintage Bar utilizes a linear format with four independently controllable LED zones, the Vintage X features a distinctive octagonal housing with four amber LED segments arranged in an X-pattern. Both units are linkable, allowing users to build custom lighting configurations suited to unique stage and event setups.

ADJ’s popular Hydro Series is expanding with the addition of the Hydro Flex L19 and Hydro Flex L7, rugged IP65-rated LED wash zoom fixtures. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, these models incorporate 19 and 7 RGBL LEDs, respectively, each offering individual pixel control, motorized zoom, and flexible control options – making them suitable for a variety of event production applications.

Also featured was the Vizi Pix Z19, a dynamic wash zoom fixture equipped with 19 x 30-Watt RGBL LEDs, offering a zoom range from 7° to 42° and enhanced color clarity thanks to the integration of a lime LED chip. Surrounding the central lenses, 30 x RGB LEDs provided ambient effects, while an additional ring of 40 x RGB LEDs on the outer edge allowed for layered chase and eye-candy visuals, enabling designers to create striking multi-dimensional effects.

Another highlight of ADJ’s booth was the Encore DBX, a robust dual-cell blinder equipped with a pair of 150-Watt RGBAW LEDs and an RGB-lit reflector. Designed for both functionality and aesthetics, the Encore DBX delivers powerful blinder washes alongside colorful glow effects, all housed in a durable IP65-rated casing for versatile use in diverse environments.

ADJ also highlighted the 40 HEX Panel IP, a versatile LED wash unit featuring 40 x 20-Watt RGBAL+UV LEDs divided into 10 zones. The fixture matches the size and housing of the company’s popular Jolt Panel FXIP, making it a complementary option for floor carts and production rigs. Its IP65-rated enclosure and frost filter slot add to its appeal as a reliable choice for demanding applications.

In addition to lighting products, ADJ introduced the WMS2 Media Sys – an LED video display solution tailored for the live events market. Packaged in a flight case, the system includes two 1000mm x 500mm panels with a 2.6mm pixel pitch, along with a wheeled stand featuring an integrated Novastar processor. The portable system provides a 2m x 0.5m freestanding video surface, well-suited for branding, directional signage, or promotional content.

Reflecting on the event, Sebastian Mobers, ADJ’s European Sales Director, remarked: “Prolight+Sound has always been a key event for us, and with both ADJ and the show celebrating major milestones this year, it was a particularly meaningful occasion. We enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with our customers and demonstrate the innovations that drive our commitment to creativity.”

ADJ exhibited at Booth #E57 in Hall 12.1, where the company’s knowledgeable team of product and sales specialists engaged with attendees, offering hands-on demonstrations and expert guidance on the latest technologies.
