Båndsalat Supercharges Live Shows with ADJ Jolt Panel FX2

Known for their explosive mix of stage presence and dancefloor classics spanning five decades, the Danish party band recently raised the bar even higher – thanks to a bold new lighting design built around the ADJ Jolt Panel FX2.
More than just a cover band, Båndsalat is a full-throttle live experience. Seeking a lighting solution that could match the energy of their show and bring an added layer of excitement to the audience experience, Båndsalat turned to the ADJ Jolt Panel FX2 – a powerful, multi-functional LED fixture that blends high-impact strobe effects with vibrant color washes and mesmerizing eye candy visuals. Each unit houses 800 x 0.5-Watt RGB SMD LEDs arranged into 40 independently controllable zones, allowing for intense, full-color chase effects. These are paired with 48 x 5-Watt white SMD LEDs split into six zones, delivering razor-sharp strobe effects with blinding brightness that slice through the atmosphere.
As part of a new lighting design for the 2025 summer season, Båndsalat has invested in 18 Jolt Panel FX2 fixtures to deploy at the heart of their touring floor package. Commenting on the purchase, band member Thomas Lindstrøm states: “We were looking for a solution that could give us both strobe effects and flexibility in our visual expression. The ADJ Jolt Panel FX2s have really opened up new possibilities in our lighting design.”
The Jolt Panel FX2’s hybrid functionality makes it an ideal fit for Båndsalat’s high-energy performances. Whether delivering pulsing white bursts timed to drum hits, flowing color fades during ballads, or animated pixel chases synced with the band’s more upbeat tracks, the fixtures provide a dynamic visual counterpart to every musical moment. Thanks to their wide 111° field angle, the panels flood the stage with rich, saturated color, while the strobe zones punch through with intense flashes that create tension and release on cue. Their low-profile design also makes them perfect for floor deployment – framing the band visually without cluttering the stage.
By integrating the Jolt Panel FX2 into their live setup, Båndsalat has significantly expanded their creative toolkit. The band’s lighting rig now acts not just as a complement, but as an active performer – reacting to every drop, build, and breakdown with a language of light that speaks directly to the audience.
